What happens when I arrive?
If you have arrived by car and are staying for a day trip only, you will be directed to the Horse Hill Carpark by an attendant. Here you will find a ticket office, a Buller Sports outlet, which can assist with your equipment hire needs, and the Village shuttle bus that operates between 8am and 5pm daily. The bus travels from Horse Hill to Cow Camp Plaza, in the heart of the Mt Buller Village, and is free for all resort guests. Day visitors can also access the resort’s northern slopes via the Horse Hill Chairlift, which goes across to Spurs Café, and the Village, which is a short slide away.
If you are staying for one night or longer, car parking attendants will greet you at the long-term car parks, from where a Village Taxi will take you to your accommodation. Taxi charges apply.
Those arriving by bus may be driven straight to Cow Camp Plaza, which is where the car park shuttle buses also arrive. Here you will find a public lunch area, lockers, toilets, an ATM and food outlets.
The Village Ticket Office and Buller Sports Central is located on the other side of the Village Square. The experienced staff at Buller Sports can assist with all your snowsports equipment needs, whether you wish to hire skis or a board, or purchase gloves, a beanie or sunscreen. You can also purchase lift and lesson tickets when you hire your equipment, all in one easy transaction.
The stairs at the Village Ticket Office take you up to Cattleman’s Café and to the bottom of the Blue Bullet One Chairlift, which travels above Mt Buller’s main beginner area, Bourke Street, and is the gateway to the resort’s slopes.
